Johnnie B. Hall

Celebration of Life Services for Deacon Johnnie B. Hall will be held on Wednesday October 02, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Dudley Baptist Church 1425 2nd Street, Dudley, Georgia. Rev. Warren Harris, Sr. will officiate. Interment will follow at Dudley Memorial Cemetery.

Deacon Johnnie B. Hall, “B”, “Billy”, son of the late Booker T. Hall and Adlene Godfrey Hall of Dudley, Georgia. He attended public schools in Laurens County, a graduate of Millville High School and Georgia Police Academy.

At an early age he joined Byrd Hill Baptist Church where he served as Chairman of the Deacon’s Ministry.

He was united in holy matrimony to Diane Prymus Hall in July of 1970. This union was blessed with two children Tracy Hall and Stacy Hall.

He served his community in many capacities for many years, as the Minority Adviser for the ASCS Office, Board of Directors for Oconee EMC, Board of Directors for 4 County Exchange, Board of Directors for the Laurens County Boys & Girls Club, and the Owner of Serenity Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Dublin.

Deacon Hall was an avid farmer. He has a love of raising cows. He worked as a Georgia State Patrol Trooper for 31 years where he retired as Security for Georgia’s Governor Roy Barnes. He lived a beautiful life. His influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his sister Essie Mae Hall.

His beautiful life will forever be cherished by his wife of 49 years Dianne Prymus Hall; children Tracy E. (Renae) and Stacy E. Hall of Dudley; one grandson Evan Hall, Atlanta; siblings: Flonnie Jones, Miami, Florida, Lugine (Dorothy) Hall, Dudley, Georgia, Roy James (Shirley) Hall, Miami, Florida, Sammie (Linda) Hall, Dublin, Georgia; brother-in-law’s, James Prymus, Detroit, Michigan and Eugene Mack, Montrose, Georgia; sister-in-law’s, Janice Mack, Montrose, Georgia, Lois Hardy, Eloise Pauldo both of West Palm Beach, Florida.

Public Viewing will be held on Monday, September 30 from 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 1 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. Deacon Hall will be placed in the Sanctuary of Dudley Baptist Church at 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 2 until service hour. Family will receive friends at the family residence 1351 Watkins Hall Road, Dudley.
