Celebration of Life Services for Mr. Albert Edgar Padilla, Jr. will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at 6PM. Public viewing and visitation will be held from 4-6PM. Location: Serenity Funeral Home of Dublin Chapel - 414 Telfair Street Dublin, Georgia 31021.
Albert Edgar Padilla Jr., age 62, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2026. He was born on November 19, 1963, to the late Albert Edgar Padilla Sr. and Rosalie Alegria Padilla.
Albert was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and loyal friend whose kindness and hardworking spirit touched many lives. He was married to the love of his life, Rhonda Gozy Padilla, and together they built a life centered around family, love, and dedication.
Albert was a skilled craftsman who loved working with his hands and building projects in his backyard. He found peace and joy in the outdoors and took pride in creating and fixing things for those he loved. He was recently promoted to Heavy Equipment Operator for the City of Dublin Water Department, a position he worked hard to achieve and was very proud of.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Edgar Padilla Sr. and Rosalie Alegria Padilla, and his sister, Laura Padilla.
Above all, Albert cherished his family. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Rhonda Gozy Padilla; his children, Ross Harden, Robbie (Tiffany) Harden, and Heather (Jamie) Bailey; his treasured grandchildren, Brennan Harden, Mitchell Harden, McKay Harden, Tristen Harden, Gavin (Bridget) Harden, Rylan Harden, Emma Bailey, and Ella Bailey. He was also blessed with one great-grandchild, Lainey Mae Harden.
Albert is also survived by his siblings, Charles Padilla, Delores Padilla, Arthur Padilla, Maria Padilla, Annie Padilla, Maggie Padilla, and Alberta Padilla; along with his brother-in-law, Eddie Joe Gozy, and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
Albert will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his quiet strength, his generous heart, and the love he gave so freely to his family and friends. His legacy will live on in the lives he touched, and the memories shared by those who loved him dearly.
