Graveside Services for Mr. Alvin Knight, Jr. will be held Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, 2201 Antioch Church Road, Dexter. Rev. Joey Diers and Rev. Jim Fennell will officiate.

Alvin Knight Jr. departed his life on Monday, April 20, 2020.  He was born on October, 18, 1943 to the parentage of the late Mrs. Zettie and Alvin Knight Sr.

Alvin was employed at Dixie Electric of Macon, Georgia for 31 years and was a faithful member of the Charity Baptist Church for 20 years where he served as a trustee and worked on other ministries within the church.  He was president of the Brotherhood Ministry and a member of the Dexter Masonic Lodge and served on both for 15 years.  Alvin was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Alvin's life and legacy will be cherished forever by his devoted wife of 21 years,Sara Knight; two children, Christopher Knight and Lori (Ken) Hunt; parents Zettie and Alvin Knight Sr.; four sisters,  Helen Fordham, Hilda Diers, Jean Upshaw, Jamice (Bobby) Diers, and a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
