Graveside Services for Mrs. Arcenia Godfrey Watkins were held Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Kurtz Cemetery. Rev. Carlton Godfrey delivered the eulogy.

Mrs. Arcenia Godfrey Watkins was born in Dudley, GA on August 7, 1929 to the late Sam and Luvenia Watkins. Mrs. Watkins accepted Christ as her personal Lord and Savior at an early age and became a devoted choir member of Rose Hill Baptist Church until her health ​​failed. She was preceded in death by her husband Willie Watkins; daughter Lorene Watkins; siblings, Ireather Wiggins, Charlotte Edwards, Ida Mae Pryor, Adlene Hall, Comaletha Watkins, Fleta Blue, Carlton Godfrey, and Willie T. Godfrey. Mrs. Watkins is survived by her six sons; Freddie Watkins, Leval Watkins, John T. (Cecelia) Watkins, L.T. (Faye) Watkins, Willie Jr. (Gwen) Watkins, and Raymond (Sandra)Watkins; one sister, Doretha Carswell; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
