Graveside Services for infant Dekayla L. Kates were held Thursday, February 11, 2021 at 1:00PM at Dudley Memorial Cemetery. Pastor Kenneth Kates delivered the eulogy.

Dekayla Leshawn Kates was born without a heartbeat on Saturday, February 6, 2021, at Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin, GA at 2:30PM. She weighed 1lb and was 11 ½ inches long. DeKayla is the cherished daughter of D'Sergio Deonte Kates and Tramiyah Tyranique Stanley. Precious baby Kates had thick eyebrows just like her mother and a nose just like her father. Although she never spent quality time with us on earth, she touched many of our lives. She was greeted in heaven by her grandfather Derrick Leshawn Kates, great grandmother Sandra Stanley, and her Auntie Centralia Blash. Her memories will forever be cherished by her loving parents, D'Sergio Kates and Tramiyah Stanley; older sisters, Key'mya, Ka'miya, and Hayley; big brothers, Keyton & Mason; grandparents, Essence (Lindsey) O'Neal, Wautisha (Rodney) Denson, Travis (Chawndra) Stanley; great grandparents, Kenneth (Ira) Kates, Darsena Reynolds, Paul Salter, & Margaret (Freddie) Well; godmother/aunt, Shabria Stanley and a host of many aunts, uncles, cousins and so many dear friends. Serenity Funeral Home, Dublin had charge of arrangements.
