Funeral Services for Mr. Bennie Keith Jackson will be held Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at Serenity Funeral Home 414 Telfair Street, Dublin. Rev. Kendrick K. Mack will serve as eulogist. Interment will follow at Laurens Memorial Gardens.
On Thursday May 26, 1966, at 8:08 AM, Dr. J. Roy Rowland delivered this little baby boy into this world at Laurens Memorial Hospital-Dublin, Georgia. Born to the proud parents, Dent Jackson, Jr. and Mildred Branham Jackson. He was spoiled by his loving grandparents, Mr. Elijah Branham, Sr. and Mrs. Caroline McCullar Branham, Mr. Dent Jackson, Sr. and Mrs. Donnie Wells Jackson, all are deceased. Eleven years later Keith welcomed his baby brother, Reginald Dent Jackson (Tori G. Mitchell Jackson). Then fourteen years later another baby boy welcomed by Keith and Reginald, Little Jamie Elijah Jackson (Lecresia Tina Wyche).
Keith have three sons and one daughter, Delvin Montford, Jamuel Jones, B.K. Jackson, and Sherrie S. Jackson; Five grandchildren Landen Smith, Skyler Jackson, Mason Jackson, Halo Jackson and Kymari Jackson. Special Aunts Jean Carrow, Lillian Wright, Lucille Ledbetter, Audrey Branham and Betty Branham. Uncle Herbert Branham, Harvey Branham, James Wright. Many cousins and friends.
Keith was a member of Williams Chapel Baptist Church. Joined February 19, 1978, was baptized May 6, 1978 under the pastor of Rev. R. L. Pooler and Rev. Gerald Smith, He was a member the usher board and Sang in the junior choir always a willing worker. A graduate of East Laurens High 1984 and Cecil's transportation in Ashville, North Carolina June 22,1991. For most of his adult life he was a truck driver long distance and short. Traveled the states and out, with brief employment with Southeast paper company, BE&K construction, Graham construction, Walmart and Candance Transport. He took pride in his driving Keith loved in school and out of school. Especially country music, his favorite song was Buffalo Solider and satisfy my soul by Bob Marley. He played Drums and Saxophone. Keith received many certificates and awards in school and at BE&K Construction in Rigging.
He was a jovial joker. He will be missed by his family and friends.
