Delcie Ethel was born August 6, 1934 in Crooksville, Ohio to the late Fred and Helen Ethel.  She gained her wings January 19, 2019.

She was preceded in death by her son, Stephen Niedermaier, daughter, Kathrine Viola, and brother, Fred Ethel, Jr. She is survived by her husband, Wayne Ethel.  She lived out her days in Dexter, Georgia as a homemaker and caretaker to her six children, ten grand children and a host of great- grandchildren.

She was the beloved mother to Mary (Frank) Glisson, of East Dublin, Georgia; John Niedermaier of Dexter, Georgia; Margo Niedermaier of Dexter, Georgia and her special grand daughters Toshia Williams and Elizabeth Glisson whom she raised.

She was the beloved grandmother of Theresa (Buddy) Epley, Bert (Angela) Farris both of South Carolina, Matthew Glisson of East Dublin, Joshua (Jay) Glisson of Dublin, Kristen Obney of Dexter, Ryan (Alex) Niedermaier of Lizella, Elizabeth Ashlyn Murphy of Athens, Georgia and Gage Hunt of Dexter. Great Grands Jakeese Niedermaier, Alyssa Williams, Jabari Davis of Dublin, Georgia, Rylee and Haylie Obney of Dexter, Gracie and Kylie Glisson of New Jersey, Emma, Maddie, and Hunter Hulbert of Hawkinsville, Cayden Epley of South Carolina and Aliana Hadzikadunic of Athens, Georgia.

The family will receive visits at the family residence. The family is asking that instead of flowers please make donations to Serenity Funeral Home for funeral arrangements.
