Funeral Services for Rev. Earl E. Hicks will be held Saturday, June 24, 2023 at 11:00AM. Location: Williams Chapel Baptist Church 1142 GA-HWY 29 South East Dublin, Georgia 31027. Dr. Eddie Hixson will serve as eulogist.

Earl was born July 4, 1946 in Jesup, Georgia to the late Eddie T. Hicks and Blanch Edwards. Rev. Hicks was a faithful member of Williams Chapel Baptist Church where he served on the Ministerial Staff. He retired from Carl Vinson VA Medical Center, with over 30 years of service, and served as Chaplain for Georgia Department of Corrections. Also, Earl served in United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1970.

He loved gardening, baking, fishing, and vacationing with his grandchildren.

He leaves to cherish his memories his children, Kim Hicks Davis and Keena Hicks, siblings, Marie Butler and Wadell Perry, and the mother of his children, Bettye Hicks; grandchildren, Dejeuner Hicks, Sabria Wortham, Dejeuvon Hicks, Denasia Davis, Shykeim Lewis, Jalen Davis, Janaiya Davis, Noraiya Davis and Royce Johnson; great-grandchildren, Aiden Woods, Jhase Morgan, Rishon Malcolm, Rehni Malcolm and Amor Law, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
