Mr. Butler peacefully transitioned on Thursday, January 06 ,2022.Mr. Butler was born September 27,1949 to the late Willie T. Butler and Lizzie Mae Butler. Mr. Butler attended Johnson County Schools and was a retired Janitor.

He was preceded in death by his sons, Tony Butler and Rodney O'Neal Butler; brothers, Leon Butler and Fred Butler; sister, Mary Butler, Katherine Butler, Annie Julia Brown, Julie Davis, Bernestine Butler, Mattie Brown.

Ernest leaves to cherish his memories his memories, His loving wife, Christine Butler; daughter Kimly Butler; sons, Ernest Butler Jr., Antonio Butler, Christopher Butler, Daniel Butler, James Butler, and Shedrick (Demetra) Butler, all of Dublin Georgia; brother, Willie Butler of Wrightsville, Georgia; sisters, Alzonia Butler, Lily Bell Butler, Janice Dixon, Ella Butler, Vera, Elvinia Gilbert Butler, and Ernestine Oliver, all of Wrightsville, Georgia; Sister in laws, Willene Gregory, Jennie Mitchell, Darlene (Gerald) Weaver, Dorothy Wright of Wrightsville, Pearl Cason of Kansas City, Willie Jewel Wright of Atlanta, Georgia and a host of grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
