Celebration of Life Services for Mr. Freddie Lee Boyington will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at 11:00AM. Location: Spring Hill CME Church - 7566 Asbury Church Road Gordon, Georgia 31031.
Freddie Lee Boyington was born on May 11, 1945, in Gordon, GA (Springhill) . He was the first child born to Mr. George and Mrs. Estelle Burney Boyington. Fred accepted Christ at an early age and was a faithful and dedicated member of Springhill CME Church until his health failed him. He attended Calhoun Consolidated High School where he graduated in 1964. He was employed by Freeport/Engelhard/BASF for 42 years.
In 1968, he married Ms. Louise Munford. Four amazing children were born from that union. Freddie was a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He enjoyed spending time with his family. His grandchildren were the loves of his life. Freddie was called to eternal rest on January 07, 2026. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Freddie leaves to cherish his memory to his loving wife, Mrs. Louise Munford Boyington; two daughters, Dr. LaDaria Boyington Coats (Frankie), and Mrs. Pat Boyington Davis (Kevin); two sons, Mr. Fredrick Shawn Boyington (NaLani), and Mr. Jonathan Dereiko Boyington; two sisters, Ms. Katherine Boyington Waddy (the late James), and Mrs. Georgia Boyington Brown (John); one brother, Mr. Orlando Boyington (Eva); eight amazing grandchildren, Mr. Brandon Tyler Ward (Mandipa), Ms. Brendon Taylor Coats, Mr. Bradley Tye Coats, Mr. Noah Shane Davis, Mr. Aaron Seth Davis, Ms. Faith Nasya Boyington, the late Master Fredrick Shawn Boyington, Jr, and Mr. Faden NaShawn Boyington; great grandaughter, Princess Louise Arka Ward; bonus grandson, Mr. C.J. Matthews; bonus parents, the late Mr. Tony and Mrs. Lavata Wiggins; a host of nieces and nephews; a host of relatives and friends; his dedicated care givers, Mrs. Gwen Wilder, Ms. Annie Hood, Mrs. Ethel Carswell, Mrs. Geneise Swint, and Ms. Yvonne Howard.
