Graveside Services for Mr. Ishmael "Elmo" Cooper will be held Friday, August 9, 2024, at 11:00 AM. Location: New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery 3051 Highway 257 Dublin, Georgia. Rev. Jim Fennell will officiate.

Ishmael "Elmo" Cooper was born May 22, 1943 to the parents of Ismael Elmo Cooper, Sr., and Lille Mae Cooper in Dublin, Georgia. He was employed as a Carpenter for many years serving Laurens and surrounding counties. He departed this life August 6, 2024.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ishmael Elmo Cooper, Sr., and Lille Mae Cooper, sister, Joan Cooper Mullis, brother-in-law, Darrell Mullis and granddaughter, Brittany Elise Cooper.

He leaves to cherish his memories his children, Gregory Dale (Beth) Cooper, Rena Cooper (Dwayne) Awtry, five grandchildren, four great grand children , and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
