Graveside Services for Mrs. Jean H. Stracener will be held Thursday, January 28 at 2:00PM at Mt. Zion Baptist Church 1750 Mark Wood Road Rentz, Georgia. Rev. David Fisher will officiate.

Jean Hawkins Stracener, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 24, 2021 at the age 76. Jean was born to Wilburn and Ethel on February 19, 1944 in Blount County, Alabama.

Jean married her husband Curtis on Dec. 05,1960 and went on to have two children Kim and Tony. In 1970 they moved to Rentz, Ga.

Jean was a loving Christian mother and pastor's wife who loved her family very much. She enjoyed gardening shopping and attending gospel singing. Throughout her life she had an unwavering faith in God and shared her faith with everyone she met.

Jean joins her parents Ethel, William and brothers Hubert, Bruce and Sam Hawkins in heaven.

Survivors include Alma Gill, Sherry (Allen) Dutton, Sue (David) Evans, Helen (Bill) Massey and Jack Hawkins, grandchildren Candace (Dealous) Williams, Zack (Megan) Suerdieck, Amanda (Jeff) Goodwin, Nathan (Meghan) Suerdieck, Jared Reagin, Brandon (Macie) Reagin, and Courtney (Matthew) Still, 13 great – grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, January 27 from 5-8 PM.

Serenity Funeral Home, Dublin has charge of arrangements.
