Graveside Service for Mr. Jimmy Eugene Gardner will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at 10AM. Location – Bluewater Baptist Church – 2681 US-441 Dublin, Georgia 31021. Rev. Joey Diers will officiate.

Jimmy Eugene Gardner, 76, of Rentz Ga passed away on June 13, 2026, at the Villa. He was born in Dublin, Ga on August 11, 1949, to the parentage of late Jim and Dolly Gardner.

He was preceded in death by his wife Ann Gardner, his parents, and a sister Louise (Tommy) Williams of Rentz Ga.

He is survived by his niece and caregiver, Debra Eaves; caregivers, Brenda Fordham and Teresa Swank whom he adored; and four stepchildren.

Eugene loved his other family at the Villa they cherished him also, they spoiled him rotten. He loved ice cream and watching racing.

Eugene was a delivery driver and was an employee at Big Truck Parts until his health declined. Before employment at Big Truck Parts, he was employed at Bassett Furniture for many years.

A huge thanks to Remarkable Hospice for stepping in to take good care of him, Eugene cherished everyone who looked after him, neighbors and friends. A special thanks to Mrs. Frances Ward and her husband, they were very good neighbors. She would often cook country meals and invite him to come and eat. He thought the world of them.

The family would like to let them know we appreciate them for taking such good care of him.
