Jonathan Bennett Capece was born on December 28, 1940, to Daniel Joseph Capece and Elizabeth Kleiner (Isadore) in Brooklyn, New York who has preceded him in death.   Jonathan's siblings were as follows:  Joanne, Danny (with God), and Victor (Debbie)

Jonathan joined the Army in 1961 and retired in 1981.  He was a Vietnam Veteran who has earned several medals including three Bronze stars and the soldier's medal.  He proudly served 20 years in the military.  His career as an operations sergeant was to devise plans and carry them out in order to protect the people involved as well as the American people.  During this time, he was active as a Shriner and 32nd Degree Mason with the Masonic Lodge.

Jonathan was married in 1962 to Judy E. Gibson in Opelika, Alabama, on August 31.  She ascended herself into God's hands on September 4, 2018.  They were together for 57 years and four days.

He leaves his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren to carry on the memories, the strength, and the integrity that was Jon Capece.  He Is survived by his children Michelle and Jay (Christy), his grandchildren Amy (Brian), Chris (Coley), and Jake, his great grandchildren Kaylee, Kaleb, Kamden, Kierra, Aiden, Riley, and Evelyn.

Viewing and Visitation will be on Friday, November 22, 2024, from 4:00-6:00PM.
