Graveside Services for Mr. Julius Arthur Thomas will be held on Friday, September 25, 2026, at Bethesda Baptist Church Cemetery - 1793 Scotland Road Dublin, Georgia. Public viewing and visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at 6:30PM. Location: Serenity Funeral Home Chapel - 414 Telfair Street Dublin, Georgia.

Julius “Buddy” Thomas, beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, was born on April 3, 1960, in Laurens County, Georgia. He was the son of the late Judell Thomas and Carolyn Jones Thomas.

Buddy was a hardworking farmer and talented cabinet maker who was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was known for his generous heart, kind spirit, and ability to make others smile. Buddy loved to “act crazy” and bring laughter and joy to those around him. He truly was a great man who would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need.

He leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Heather Thomas of Twiggs County and Hannah (Justin) Thomas of Rentz, Georgia; grandchildren, Johnathan, Thomas, Anna, and Brinson; sister, Gail Hobbs of East Dublin; uncles, Wayne (Vickey) Thomas and Homer Thomas, both of Rentz, Georgia; cousins, Ray Jones, Margie Jones, Kathy (Jessi) Brown, and Jessica (Andrew) Brown; along with many other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
