Services for Mr. Larry Shepherd will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Serenity Funeral Home.

Mr. Larry Michael Edward Shepherd was born November 27, 1945 in Savannah, Georgia to Ben Edward and Elouise Shephard. He was a Truck Driver for Oconee River Trucking Company for a number of years until he retired. Mr. Shepherd entered eternal rest on December 07, 2019.

Mr. Shepherd is preceded in death by his parents; Ben Edward and Elouise Shepherd, siblings: Eddy Shepherd and Dianne Shepherd.

Surviving family members to celebrate his life include his spouse; Gwen Carroll Shepherd, children:  Larry Michael Edward (Charlotte) Shepherd, Jr., Johnny LaDon (Brandy) Shepherd, Jason Edward (Sandy) Sawyer; Melissa Ann (Jon Gillis) Tyler, JoLynn (Gray) Hucks, and Rachel McNeal; grandchildren: Heather Nicole Cart, Larry Michael Edwards Shepherd 3rd, Johnny LaDon Shepherd Jr., Brittany Danielle Shepherd, Austin Riley Shepherd, Kassie Renee Peacock, Jessica LeAnne Epps, John Michael Clements, Brandon Lavender, Shelby Ann Facciani, Amber Cheyenne Hucks, Zachery Hucks, Ryan Anthony Sawyer, Kaily Brooke Sawyer, and Cassity Lynn Sawyer, and a host of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
