Larry Darrell Tanton, 51, of Dublin, Georgia, transitioned Monday, December 20, 2021, at his residence.

Graveside Services will be held Sunday, December 26, 2021, at 3:00 PM. Location: Union Baptist Church 2124 Highway 29 South, East Dublin, Georgia. Philip Hightower will serve as eulogist. Family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 at the graveside prior to the service.

Darrell was born April 4, 1970, in Dublin, Georgia to the late Bennett M. and Mavis Howell Tanton. He was a carpenter and worked construction all his life. He loved music and fellowship. He was a talented musician and played in several local bands.

He is survived by two sisters, Benita (Ray) Reese of Fitzgerald, Georgia, Melisa Waller of Dublin, Georgia, several nieces and nephews, many other family and friends, and his constant companion, Little Man. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bennet and Mavis Tanton.

Pallbearers will be Matt Jones, Rob Carter, Will Carter, Luke Jones, Josh (Juice) Upshaw, and Caden Palmer.

The family will receive friends at Darrell's home, 120 Whipporwill Way Dublin, Georgia.

Serenity Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
