Leila Christina Moore, 57, passed away peacefully on July 4, 2026. She was born on May 3, 1969, in Milledgeville, Georgia, to Bonnie Virginia (Barnes) Moore and David Isham Moore.

Leila was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Bonnie Virginia Moore and David Isham Moore; her brothers, David N. Moore and Joseph S. Moore; her sisters, Bonnie "Beth" Smith and Rachel L. Moore; and her niece, Cori L. Oxford.

She leaves behind a family who loved her deeply, including her devoted spouse, Lee M. Boyd and the Boyd family; her daughter, Virginia M. Fountain (Cory Fountain), and grandchildren, Kadence R. Fountain and Chloe M. Fountain; her son, Alexander C. Moore (Kimberly Moore), and grandsons, BrandonLee E. Moore and Aaron T. Watson. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews: Chelsea (Scott) Brantley, Kaylee (Wayne) Moore, Ashlind (Raymond) Garner, D.J. (Chasidy) Moore, Dillion (Carrie) Evans, Eric Evans, Katherine E. Moore, Stephanie L. Hall, along with many cherished great-nieces and great-nephews.

Leila dedicated many years of hard work to Evans Cabinet Company, where she was known for her dedication and strong work ethic. Outside of work, she found her greatest joy in spending time with her family. She especially loved playing with her grandchildren, taking family adventures, watching television, boating, fishing, and making memories on trips to the beach.

A woman of deep faith, Leila was a God-fearing Baptist who lived her life with compassion and generosity. She faithfully supported her community by participating in American Cancer Society Relay for Life walks and volunteering with Habitat for Humanity to help build homes for families in need.

Leila was truly one of a kind. She was a provider in every sense of the word, always putting the needs of others before her own. She was loving, caring, strong-willed, hardworking, generous, passionate, and, as those who knew her best would smile to admit, wonderfully hard-headed and stubborn. Her strength, determination, and unwavering love touched countless lives. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, resilience, and unconditional love that will continue through all who were blessed to know her.

A celebration of Leila's life will be held onFriday, July 10, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Brewton Baptist Church, 475 S. Peachtree Road, East Dublin, Georgia 31027 on . Following the crematory service, family and friends are invited to gather in the church social hall for a time of visitation, where finger foods and refreshments will be served.

In lieu of delivering flowers elsewhere, the family kindly requests that all floral arrangements be sent to Brewton Baptist Church by Friday, July 10, 2026.

Though our hearts are broken by her passing, we find comfort in knowing that Leila's faith has carried her home into the loving arms of her Savior. She will be forever loved, deeply missed, and never forgotten.
