Lloyd L.
Youngblood
Aug 20, 1958 — Jun 11, 2020
Lloyd Leslie Youngblood also know as "Spider-Monkey", "Bubba" or "Breeze" to some of his closest friends passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2020. After several months of declining health, Leslie passed peacefully with his wife and children by his side.
Leslie was born in Corpus Christi, TX on August 20, 1958 to Lloyd and Elsie Youngblood. He was the youngest of 6 children. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. "Oorah!" After serving his country, he worked in construction for many years before starting his career as a Truck Driver for Southeastern Freight Lines. But if you asked Leslie his greatest accomplishment, it was being a Father and Grandfather.
Leslie enjoyed hunting, fishing and Karaoke but above anything else, he loved to entertain his family and friends. He never met a stranger and if you ever had the pleasure to make his acquaintance, you couldn't forget that contagious smile and infectious joy. His enthusiastic sprit and love for life was puzzling for so many of the people that he encountered. How could someone who was dealt the cards he was dealt be so outgoing and uplifting? He was such an inspiration to so many and we are all fortunate to have known him.
Leslie is survived by his wife Rena and children Lana Taylor(Shayne), Shawn Youngblood(Ragan), John Young(Amy) and Jason Young(Noel). His grandchildren Julia, Jaxon, Harley, Michaela, Audrey, Jonah, Gracin and Hadley Jane. Special friends Bruce Stillwell and Donny Graham.
He is preceded in death by his father Lloyd Youngblood, Mother Elsie Youngblood, Sister Gayle Williams, Sister Sue Stallings, Nephew Barry Stallings and lifelong best friend "Mean Dean" McKay.
Please join his family and friends in a celebration of Leslie's life on June 27th, 2020 @ 2 o'clock in the afternoon at Serenity Funeral Home, 414 Telfair Street Dublin GA.
