Funeral Services for Mr. Marquis Horne will be held Saturday, February 26, at 2:00 PM. Location: Serenity Funeral Home 414 Telfair Street, Dublin, Georgia. Rev. Greg Mack will serve as eulogist.
Mr. Marquis "Boobie" Horne was born to Kenya Horne and Raymond Smith on November 27,1989. He is preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Betty Oliver; great-great grandparents Elijah and Eula McDavis; and grandfather, Larry Horne.
Mr. Horne is survived by his three daughter, Daijah E. Horne, Markira K. Horne, and Markevia Horne, Miami, Florida; Mother, Kenya Horne, of Dublin, Georgia; siblings, Raymika Smith, of St. Petersburg, Florida, Raynika Smith, of Dublin, Georgia, Tyrone McKinney, of Miami, Florida and Bartimus (Tierra) Horn, of Miami, Florida; grandmother, Cynthia Mitchell, of Dublin, Georgia; great-grandfather, Alfred Mitchell, of Miami, Florida; aunts, Keneisha (John) Lowe, of Macon, Georgia, Kenia (Damon) Smith, of Dublin, Georgia, Sonja Givens, of Miami, Flordia, Debra Givens of Miami, and Gloria Jackson of Boston; uncles, Rickey (Vanessa) Givens of Jackson, Florida, and Jeffery Givens of Miami; nieces, Erkia Smith and Eriyunah Smith; nephew, Liam Smith; favorite cousin, Patrick 'Duck" Horne; devoted friend, Adriana Gilley; and a host of cousins, relative and friends.
Public Viewing will be held Friday, February 24, 2022 form 9:00-7:00PM at the funeral home.
Serenity Funeral Home, Dublin has charge of arrangements.
