Mr. Robert Brookins entered into rest on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at Serenity Hospice in Dublin, Georgia.

Robert was born July 6, 1968 to the late Donald Gene Brookins and the late Joy Marie Brookins. He attended West Laurens and was "like an all – star in baseball." He had a passion for building, guitar playing, fishing, motorcycles, repairing, music and nature especially the river.

Robert was self employed with his carpentry, construction and siding business. On his off days you could find him riding his orange Harley Sportster with A.B.A.T.E ( American Bikers Active Toward Education) or spending time with his family and friends.

He is proceeded in death by his father Donald Gene Brookins, mother Joy Marie Brookins, paternal grandparents Alonzo Brantley, Willard Allen Watson and Elizabeth Emma Rozier Watson, maternal grandparents Joseph and Audie Lee Fowler.

He leaves to cherish his memories with his daughter Elizabeth Joy Marie Brookins, stepmother Wynell Elements Brookins, siblings Donald (Kathy) Gene Brookins, Lisa(Mickey) Marie Ussery, April Denise Melton, and Leigh (Chris) Ann Morris, a host of nieces, nephews and family and friends.
