Funeral services for Mr. Rosevelt Coley of Dexter, Georgia will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, April 21, 2018, at the Eason Hill Baptist Church, 2022 Eason Hill Church Road, Montrose.  Pastor Lee E. Wornum will deliver the eulogy.  Interment will follow at the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Coley was born on November 16, 1952, in Dublin, to the late J.C. Coley Sr. and Sarah Jane Holloway Coley.  He joined Macedonia Baptist Church at an early age.  He was an avid farmer and had a love for the outdoors.  He was employed at Hogan Farms for 32 years.

He was preceded in death by his father J.C. Coley, Sr. and sisters, Lori Lee Smith and Eunice James.  He leaves to cherish his memory his mother Sarah Coley; a devoted wife, Sandy Mims Coley of Danville; daughter, Gwendolyn Coley of Grovetown, Georgia; two bonus daughters Mary Mitchell of Evans, Georgia, and Santrail Mims, one bonus son Kyle Grant both of Miami, Florida; four sisters Mary J. (Joe) Strickland of Detroit, Michigan, Josephine "Sue" Stephens of Dublin, Emma (Earl) Watson and Ruthie "Cut" Coley, of Macon; brothers, Willie "Lil Bro" Jones, J.C. "Montro" Coley, Jr. of Macon, and Thomas Coley of Cleveland, Ohio; three grandchildren Anthony Coley, JaNaya Salter, and Jaylen Salter; mother and father-in-law, James "Buster" and Christine Mims; three brothers-in-laws; three sisters-in-laws; two good friends Grady Carr and Johnnie B. Hall; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The family is receiving friends at the family residence 182 Oakhill Cemetery Road, Danville and on Friday, April 20, 6-7 PM at the Serenity Funeral Home.
