Sharon Laverne Bailey, a beloved wife, cherished family member, and dear friend, was born on May 20, 1958, in Norcross, Georgia, to the parentage of Franklin Harrell and Wilma Hammett. She departed this earthly life peacefully on August 22, 2026, at Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin, Georgia.

Sharon was a woman who touched the lives of many through her strength, determination, kindness, and genuine love for those around her. She was married to her devoted husband, Harold Scott Bailey, for many years, and together they shared a life filled with memories, love, and companionship.

Sharon was a hardworking woman who took great pride in providing for her family. She worked as a tractor-trailer operator for Howard Shepard, a career that reflected her determination, independence, and strong work ethic. She was not afraid of hard work and carried herself with a quiet strength that those who knew her admired.

Beyond her work, Sharon's greatest treasures were her family and the many friendships she formed throughout her life. She had a heart for the people she loved and will be remembered for the memories she created, the kindness she shared, and the lasting impression she left on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Sharon leaves to cherish her precious memory, her devoted husband, Harold Scott Bailey; her dear family; and a host of loving relatives, extended family members, and many friends who will forever hold her close in their hearts.
