Funeral Services for Mr. Solomon Kareem Vaughns will be held on Friday, March 08, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Serenity Funeral Home 414 Telfair Street, Dublin. Rev. Kendrick K. Mack, Sr. will deliver the eulogy. Interment services will be private.

Mr. Solomon Kareem Vaughns, passed away on March 3, 2019, was born to the late Mr. Peter Simon Vaughns and Mrs. Lurine Vaughns.  He graduated from E.C. Goodwin Tech, New Britain, Connecticut with certification in automotive, and a worked as a security guard in Farmington, Connecticut.

At a young age Solomon attended New Hope Church Of God In Christ Church, New Britain, Connecticut as an active member in the Youth Choir and Youth Department.

At the age of 37 Solomon gave his life to the Lord. He joined Jordan Grove Church Of God In Christ, Dublin, Georgia under the leadership of Pastor Ira Edwards. Solomon was a loving father, brother, cousin, friend, and a lover of God.

Mr. Solomon Vaughns was proceeded in death by his younger sister Ebony Simone Vaughns.

Solomon leaves to cherish his sweet memories to his children: Marcus Kareem Vaughns, Atlanta, Trevor Vaughns, Augusta, two special aunts, Mattie (Willie) Lawson, Montrose, Mary Lee Thomas, Hartford, Connecticut, a special uncle, Jimmy Ryles, Winsor, Connecticut, and a special God Mother Marian (Joe) Smith, Dublin.

Special cousins; Randall Lewis Lawson, Montrose, Jimmy Ryles, New Britain, Conneticut, James Jones, Dublin, Shareeka Thomas, East Dublin, Willie Mae Sutton, Dublin, and a special God-Sisters: Rhoder Marie Gilbert, Dublin, and Jo Marchell Smith, Hendersonville, Tennessee, and a host of other cousins, uncles, aunts, church family and friends.

Family will receive friends at the home of Mrs. Marian Smith 200 Thomas Street, Dublin. Serenity Funeral Home, Dublin has charge of arrangements.
