Funeral Services for Rev. Stephen Rex Pippen will be held on Friday, July 12, 2019 at 3:00 PM at Serenity Funeral Home 414 Telfair Street, Dublin. Rev. Gene Hancock will officiate.

Stephen (Steve) Rex Pippin, 63, of Sandersville, Georgia passed away Monday, July 8, 2019 at Serenity Hospice in Dublin, Georgia.  Visitation will be held Friday, July 12 at 1:00 PM. Memorials may be made to Serenity Foundation, 520 Hillcrest Parkway, Dublin, Georgia 31021.

Steve was born August 7, 1955 in Hartford, Alabama to Roy and Minnie (Gilley) Pippin.  He graduated from Chamberlain High School in 1973 and attended Hillsborough Community College. He received his ministerial credentials through Berean School of the Bible.  On June 14, 1975 he married Sandra A. Carter in Tampa.  Steve pastored various churches in Florida and Georgia over 34 years.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time with his family, and spreading the Gospel.  Steve was a loving husband, dad, pawpaw, brother, uncle, friend and pastor.

Stephen is survived by his wife Sandra Pippin; two daughters Stephanie Million of Warner Robins, Georgia and Candice Tucker and her husband Travis of Bonaire, Georgia; three grandchildren, Jordan Million, Ezekiel Carswell and Mckensie Tucker; his sister Vickie Rose and her husband David of Lakeland, Florida, his brother Reverend Ken Pippin and his wife Reverend Susan of Tarpin Springs, Florida, his brother David Pippin and his wife Vickie of Eatonton, Georgia, his sister Angela Berkey and her husband Raymond of Orlando, Florida; and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents Roy and Minnie.

Serenity Funeral Home, Dublin has charge of arrangements.
