Obituary

Ms. Teresita Fonseca, 76, peacefully entered eternal rest on July 4, 2026, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family. Born on May 4, 1950, in New York, she was the beloved daughter of Luis and Annie Camino.

Teresita was a devoted daughter, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and dear friend whose kindness, strength and unwavering love touched the lives of all who knew her. She lived life with joy, laughter and a spirit that could brighten any room. Known as the life of the party, Teresita, has a wonderful sense of humor and loved making others smile.

She loved dancing and cooking delicious meals for her family. Music was also a special part of her life, and she especially enjoyed listening to gospel, Spanish 1960’s, whose songs often filled her home and accompanied many cherished family gatherings.

Above all, Teresita’s greatest love was her family. She treasured every moment spent with her daughter, nieces and nephews and took pride in caring for and supporting those she loved. Her warm embrace, caring spirit, and unconditional love will forever remain in the hearts of her family.

She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Annie Camino, father, Luis Camino, and sister Luisa Camino whose memory she carried close to her heart throughout her life.

She is survived by her loving family, son Robert Moftah of Florida, daughter, Martiza Brown of Dublin, grandson Gabriel Moftah, sisters Anne Camino of Dublin, Maria Tamayo of New York and a great nephew and other relatives.

Though her physical presence will be deeply missed, Teresita’s beautiful spirit will live on through the countless memories she created the lessons she shared, and the love she gave freely.

Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at 2:00PM at Dublinair Health & Rehabilitation Center Activity Center. Interment will follow Mt. Olive Primitive Baptist Church in Irwinton, Georgia.
