Travis Dustin Persinger, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2026, at the age of 45. He was born on October 7, 1980, to Harold “Bob” Persinger and Debra Persinger.
Travis was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Lindsey Evans Persinger, and together they built a beautiful family filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. To this union came four children, his children were a source of great pride and joy, and he treasured every moment spent with them.
Travis was also a loving grandfather to his three precious grandchildren. He loved nothing more than spoiling his grandbabies, as well as his nieces and nephews, and making sure they knew just how much they were loved.
A hardworking and dependable man, Travis was employed by Gilmer Warehouse, where he worked as a Mechanical Maintenance Laborer.
Outside of work, he loved fishing and hunting, but above all, he loved spending time with his family. Whether making memories outdoors, sharing a laugh, or simply enjoying time together, Travis had a way of making those around him feel welcome and loved.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories his devoted wife, Lindsey Evans Persinger; mother, Debra Persinger; four children, Dalton (Breana) Persinger, Gracie (Jose) Persinger, Callie (Caleb) Josey, and Dustin “Rhett” Persinger; three grandchildren, Kohan Persinger, Chanlee Persinger, and Cove Ibarra; along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Travis’ life was a gift to those who knew and loved him. His memory will forever remain a part of the hearts of those who were blessed to share in his journey. May his loved ones find comfort in knowing that although he is no longer with them in person, the love, laughter, and memories he leaves behind will never fade.
