Obituary

Funeral Services for Deacon Willie James "Buster" Guyton will be held Saturday, December 19, 2020 at 1:00pm at St. Luke Baptist Church Cemetery, Cemetery Road, Dexter, Georgia. Rev. Dr. Carl A. Wardlaw will officiate. Mask and Social Distancing is required.

Dea. Guyton was born October 7, 1946, to the late London "Bud" Guyton, Jr. and Elizabeth White Guyton.

He retired in 2004 after 32 years with the United Parcel Service. He was the founder, owner and operator of Guyton's Pressure Washing which he managed until his health failed. He served in the United States Army from 1965-1969. Also, he was a Deacon of Green Grove Missionary Baptist Church where he served as the Sunday School Superintendent and a member of the Millville High School Alumni Association.

He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife of 54 years, Clara Stanley Guyton, his three children, Jenerra Guyton, Anthony "Tony" Guyton, and Dedrick Guyton; his seven siblings, Delois "Kitty" Smith, V Otis "Bone" Guyton, Queen Evans, Janice Guyton, Martha "Susie" (Charles) Lee, Myra Guyton, Valerie Rena "Johnny" Tharpe; four grandchildren, Antonio Guyton, Shikira Willis, Evan Guyton, and Avery Guyton. He was preceded in death by his grandson, McKerick Guyton.

Public Viewing will be held on Friday, December 18, from 10:00-8:00PM.
