Celebration of Life Services for Mr. Billy Ray Howell will be held Friday, January 24, 2025, at 1:00PM. Location: Serenity Funeral Home 414 Telfair Street – Dublin, Georgia. Bro. Anthony Connell will serve as eulogist. Interment will follow at Church of Jesus Christ – Scott.

Mr. Billy Ray Howell, 69, of East Dublin, Georgia, transitioned into eternal rest on January 17, 2025. Billy Ray was born on June 20, 1955 to the parentage of the late Thomas and Vera Mae Howell in Eastman, Georgia.

Billy Ray attended school in the Dodge County School System and was graduate of Dodge County High School. He was a devoted Christian who loved God and music. He attended Everyone’s Welcome Church as well as Church of Jesus Christ – Scott. Billy Ray enjoyed everything Western, going to the gym, playing pool, and going to the race track.

Mr. Howell was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Howell and Vera Mae Howell; his son, Jason Ray Howell; and siblings, Franklin Howell and Eugene Howell.

Billy Ray leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Judy Howell; daughter, Patricia Howell; siblings, Katie Lou Odom, Marvelene (Cleve) Jones, and Marie (Pete) Lowery; granddaughters, Brionna Ellington and Tiffany Crawford; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Serenity Funeral Home – Dublin has charge of arrangements.
