Carrie Lee White, lovingly known as “Carol,” went home to be with the Lord on July 20, 2025, at the age of 77. Born on March 4, 1948, in Wheeler County, she lived a life full of kindness, laughter, and unwavering love for her family, friends, and Jesus Christ.
Carol’s life was deeply rooted in her faith. She loved Jesus with all her heart, and her greatest comfort was knowing that one day she would be in His presence. Today, that promise has been fulfilled — she is finally home, rejoicing in Heaven and reunited with her loved ones who went before her.
Carol was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Travis White, her parents, Christine Warren and Rufus Clark, and two of her children, Connie Bass and Andy White.
She leaves behind her loving children, Katherine Lara, wife of Agustin Lara Jimenez, and James White Jr. (JT). She was a proud grandmother to Dustin White (Dusty), Nathan Guinn, Rebecca White, Erica White, Teresa “Maria” Lara, Harley Bass, and Juan Lara. Her joy was multiplied in her great-grandchildren: Tidus Montgomery, Madeline Lara, Aiden Sessions, Oakley Lara, Charles “Charlie” White, and Oliver White.
Carol is also survived by her siblings Daniel “Danny” Watson (Shirley), William “Frankie” Watson, James “Eddie” Watson, and Linda Fowler Johnson, and is preceded in death by siblings Joe Clark, Milton Clark, Andy Clark, Earline Johnson, and Alfred Watson.
Carol will always be remembered for her sweet giving heart, her devotion to her family, and the way she made everyone feel welcomed and loved. She enjoyed nothing more than spending time surrounded by those she cherished, sharing her love for Jesus, laughter, and her famous home-cooked meals, especially her homemade buttermilk biscuits.
A Celebration of Carol’s Life will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at 2:00PM, where friends and family will gather to honor the beautiful legacy, she leaves behind. Location: Serenity Funeral Home Chapel -- 414 Telfair Street Dublin, GA 31021. Public viewing will be on July 23, 2025 from 10AM until 1PM at Serenity Funeral Home - Dublin.
Carol’s warmth, wisdom, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, and all who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten. She is now home with her Jesus dancing.
Serenity Funeral Home - Dublin has charge of arrangements.
