Charles Maupin Brooks, Jr.

Funeral Services for Mr. Charles M. Brooks, Jr. will be held Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 2:00PM. Location: Serenity Funeral Home 414 Telfair Street, Dublin. Interment will follow at Dudley Memorial Cemetery.

Charles was born August 24, 1947 in Tuskegee, Alabama to the late Charles Brooks, Sr. and Carol Brooks O’Neal. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Charles and Mrs. Carol Books, and stepfather, Mr. Calvin O’Neal.

Mr. Brooks was a resident of Southland Health & Rehab and a former member of Williams Chapel Baptist Church. He was kind hearted to everyone, friendly, a people’s person, and was dedicated to picking up aluminum cans.

He is survived by his daughter, Caroline Brooks of Eastman, siblings, Rae Helen Washington and Ronald Haynes both of Dublin, and a host of friends and other relatives.

Public viewing will be held Friday, September 22, 2023 from 10:00AM – 7:00PM.
