Daniel Carl Hooks

Graveside Services for Mr. Daniel C. Hooks, Sr. known to many as “Danny” will be held Monday, March 21, 2022 at 1:00PM. Location: Dublin Memorial Gardens 2986 US Hwy 80 Dublin, Georgia. Rev. Curtis Warnock will serve as eulogist.

Mr. Daniel C. Hooks, Sr. was born July 29, 1950 to Mr. Carl B. Hooks and the late Mrs. Eloyce Giles. He was a 1968 Graduate of Dublin High School, 1972 Graduate of University of Georgia, an Eagle Scout, member of Pine Forest United Methodist Church, started the DCT Program at Dublin High School, and the owner of Danny C. Hooks Auto Sales.

Daniel was preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Eloyce Giles and brother, David Hooks.

He is survived by his wife, Paula M. Hooks, children, Dan (Julie) Hooks, JoBett (Brady) Smith; father, Carl B. Hooks; sister, Mary (Ed) Finch; grandchildren, Linc and Maddie Hooks, JoBen and MaryBeth Veal, Nash, Eze and Rozie Smith; nephews, Watson McCollister, Matthew (Brittany) McCollister, niece, Carla Hooks, nephew, John Chappel (Haley) McCollister and a host of other relatives.

In lieu of flowers, donations can can be made to Heart of Georgia Fellowship of Christian Athletes 1285 Seventh Street Dudley, Georgia 31022.
