Deborah (Cox) McLendon

Celebration of Life Services for Mrs. Deborah McLendon will be held Saturday, March 14, 2026 at 4 PM. Location: Minter Baptist Church - 1011 Pleasant Springs Church Rd. East Dublin, Ga 31027. Dr. Mark Spence will officiate. A small service will be held in the church, with food and fellowship to follow after at the family life center.  

           Mrs. Debby McLendon was born in Dublin, GA to the late Carl Cox and Carolyn Cox Barrs. She passed away on Friday February 13, 2026. 

         Debby was married to her beloved husband Mr. Larry Morris McLendon for 45 years.  

         She was preceded in death by her husband Mr. Larry Morris McLendon; parents Carl Cox and Carolyn Whitehead Cox Barrs; grandparents, Grady Lee and Ruby Whitehead; and her step brother Jeff Barrs. 

          Left to cherish her memories are her children Erin (Mark) Holt and Daniel Lee McLendon; grandchildren, Elizabeth and Rhett Holt, Aubrey McLendon, Gunner and Ryder Howell; siblings Donald Barrs, Tonia (Clay) Evans, and Steven (Jennifer) Cox and  a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
