Celebration of Life Services for Mr. Earnest A. Parker will be held Monday, August 18, 2025, at 10:00AM. Location: Serenity Funeral Home 414 Telfair Street – Dublin. Interment will follow at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery 2617 Vinson Highway – Milledgeville, Georgia. Rev. Horace Austin will serve as eulogist.
Earnest Aker “Beasley” Parker was born March 31, 1959, to the parentage of the late William Frambrough and Elnora Parker. He was reared in a God-fearing family and gave his life to Christ at an early age within the ministry of Green Grove Missionary Baptist Church. He received his formal education as a graduate of Dublin City School Systems.
He served in the United States Army where he proudly served his county for 4 years before returning to his Georgia roots. Mr. Parker was a consummate example of what one would refer to as a “Jack of all Trades.” During his professional journey he successfully managed a wide-ranging professional background, but painting and carpentry seemed to be his favorite, that is, of course, before he became a devoted and loving father which would ultimately become the “job” he cherished the most.
He was preceded in death by several of his closet relatives including his parents, grandparents, the late Deacon Earnest Clyde Parker and Deaconess Willie Mae Brantley Parker, aunt, Mrs. Annie B. Boatwright and his beloved cousin Raymond “Skillet” Parks.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his children; Jarvis Williams, Brittany Parker (Regianna King) and Brandon Montgomery, six grandchildren; Jamorianna Abrian, Jakyra Williams, Tristen Woodard, Jarvis Maurice Williams, Jr., Aubree King and Jacobi Edwards, three siblings; David Gable (Danyell Walker), Amanda Daniel (Terry Daniel) and Edward Woodard and a host of other family and friends. A very special thank you to his caregiver, Mrs. Linda Jones.
Public viewing will be held Sunday, August 17, 2025, from 2:00-5:00PM at the funeral home.
