Elizabeth (Siers) Thomson

Memorial Services for Mrs. Elizabeth Ann (Siers) Thomson will be held Thursday, December 5, 2024, at 6:00 PM. Location: Macedonia Baptist Church 1100 Macedonia Baptist Church Cochran, Georgia 31014.

Elizabeth was born to Charles Siers and Edna Hughes Siers in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Elizabeth was better known as “The Porch Watching Lady” passed away peacefully in her sleep Tuesday, November 19, 2024. Elizabeth was raised Catholic; she graduated from St. Hubert’s All Girls Catholic School in Philadelphia. She married Thomas Thomson on January 19, 1968, and had four stepchildren. June 1969, they welcomed a daughter and a few years later a son. They moved to the Poconos where she worked as a custodian for the Pleasant Valley School District. In 1980, she relocated to Florida funding herself taking a job as a Driver’s License Examiners in Pompano and in Ocala, where she remained until her retirement.

Elizabeth is preceded in death by her mother, Edna Hughes Siers, father, Charles Siers, Sr., brothers, Joseph Siers, Eugene Siers, and sister, Arlene Siers Denofa.

She leaves behind her husband, Thomas Thomson, daughter, Christine Thomson, son, David (Noel) Thomson, stepson, Thomas Thomson, Jr., John (Jane) Thomson, Michael (Tena) Thomson, step daughters, Susan Kishbaugh, Loraine “Lori” (Mick) McCoy, grandson, Shawn Roquerre, step grandson, Michael Thomson, Russell Kishbaugh, Gary Harris, Jeremy McCoy, step granddaughters, Stephanie (Joseph) Walsh, Sarah (Jeremy) Maneval, Amanda (Daniel) Foti, Danielle (Earl) Paules, Lauren Harris, Samantha Thomson and a ton of nieces and nephews she will surely miss. “Time Marches On”
