Freddie Joe Hall

Celebration of Life Services for Mr. Freddie Joe Hall will be held Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at 1:00PM. Location: Friendship Baptist Church 5021 Hwy 112 Allentown, Georgia 31003. Rev. Phillip Jones will serve as eulogist. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.

Mr. Freddie Joe Hall departed this life into eternal rest on September 13, 2024. He was born May 19, 1964, to the late Mary Lou Hall and Grinder Watkins. He was raised in Wilkinson County and was a graduate of Wilkinson County High School.

Freddie was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Allentown, Georgia. He was employed by Gilman Paper Mill for 28 years. Freddie spent 7 years in the Shepherd Rehab Center of Atlanta, GA and in the year of 2023, he moved back to Danville, Georgia in his new home. Freddie loved fishing, watching football and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Lou Hall, father, Grinder Watkins and his sister, Aretha Whitten.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his siblings, Barbara Butler, Ellis Hall, Margaret (JC) Billue, Christine Holliman, Carolyn (Willie Lawson) Hall, and Debbie W. Crockett all of Danville, GA, Willie (Detra) Watkins of Dublin, Georgia, Bobby (Anthony) White, Kenneth E. (Barbara) Watkins of Montrose, Georgia, Patricia A. (Ron) Pace of Chester, Georgia, Charles (Letha) Watkins, Evelyn (Vincenzol) Leto of Italy, Gregory Watkins of Hinesville, Georgia, Thomas (NiaMiyah) Ashley of Augusta, Georgia, and Margo Ashley of Warner Robins, Georgia; a very devoted nephew, Ulysses Butler, Jr., and niece, Nicole Henley of Jeffersonville, Georgia, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Public Viewing will be held at Serenity Funeral Home Tuesday, September 17, 2024 from 11:00-8:00PM.
