Freddie Watkins

Celebration of Life Services for Mr. Freddie Watkins will be held Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 1:00PM. Location: Laurens Hill Baptist Church 1404 Laurens Hill Church Road Dudley, Georgia. Interment will follow at Kurtz Cemetery. Pastor Greg Jones will serve as eulogist.

Mr. Freddie Watkins was born August 1, 1956 to T. Wesley and Lizzie Mae Watkins. He transitioned into the realms of glory Sunday, September 24, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his mother the late Mrs. Lizzie Mae Watkins. 

Freddie joined Laurens Hill Baptist Church at an early age. He graduated from West Laurens High School Class of 1974 and Fort Valley State University Class of 1979. Freddie served 33 years working with the federal government. 13 years in the United States Army and 13 years as a FBI Agent.

He was united in holy matrimony to Anna Cucuta in February 1981.

He leaves to cherish his memories his precious wife of 42 years Anna Watkins, his dog “Tink”, father, Mr. T. Wesley Watkins, siblings, DeLores Ford of Columbus, Ulysses (V) Watkins of Fort Valley, Wesley (Lucille) Watkins of Jonesboro, and Tommy Lee Watkins of Tampa, Florida, in-law’s, Yolando Acosta, Edward Acosta of Palake, Florida, uncle TheotisRozier of Macon, Georgia and a host of nieces, nephews cousins, friends and other relatives.

Public Viewing will be held Friday, September 29 from 1:00-8:00PM at the funeral home. The family will receive friends at the family residence 1344 Old Toomsboro Road, Dublin.
