Harry Earl Reedy, Jr.

Mr. Harry Early “Bud” Reedy, Jr. of Dublin, transitioned August 2, 2021 at the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center. Harry was born February 14, 1950 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Harry Earl Reedy, Sr. and Eva M. Carpenter.

Harry loved fishing, westerns, CNN, and his 2 dogs who he spoiled daily. He was retired from BASF (Engelhard Corporation) of 42 years as a Certified Welder. Harry served four years in the United States Marine Corps.

He was preceded in death by his beloved grandmother, Grace Ryan, and his parents, Harry E. Reedy, Sr. and Eva M. Carpenter, siblings, Michael Duane Reedy and Paula Reedy Lowery.

He leaves to cherish his memories, wife of 44 years Cheryl Ann Reedy, daughter, Jessica Renee Magouirk (Eric), son, Daniel Claude Reedy (Amanda), grandchildren, Laura Caroline Bass, Caleb Zachary Bass and Brianna Laree Woods, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Special thanks to the staff of Carl Vinson VA who cared for “Bud” and his family through his cancer and passing despite the demanding complications brought on by the COVID19 pandemic. Please keep our healthcare workers in your prayers.

Family will receive friends and family Saturday, August 7, 2021 from 4-6PM at the home of Eric and Jessica Magouirk, 2886 US HWY 441 North Dublin, Georgia 31021, with a private spreading of ashes at a later date.

Serenity Funeral Home, Dublin has charge of arrangements.
