The journey for Jean Smith Hall began on October 5, 1947, to the parentage of the late Thomas Charles Smith and Annie Mae Smith Underwood in Toccoa, Georgia. She was a member of the graduating class of 1965 from Whitman Street High School in Toccoa, Georgia. As a young girl, she wanted to be a fashion designer but was unable to attend design school. She then used her creative talents to master the skills of sewing, crocheting, and cross-stitching. Jean worked at Parker Aerospace for many years before retiring. Working at Parker was a source of joy for her, since many of her closest friends worked there as well.
On Wednesday, September 21, 2022, Jean transitioned peacefully to live in heaven with her heavenly father. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ludrick Hall, parents, and twin sister, Joan Rainey.
