Jeffery Loring Waldon

Jeffrey L. Waldon of Gwinnett County passed away on September 21, 2024, at the Georgia War Veterans home in Milledgeville, Georgia. His parents, Neportia and Arthur Waldon, and brother Kevin preceded him in peace.

Jeff was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and attended Hampton State University in Virginia. He served his country proudly in the United States Navy and is a Gulf War Veteran.

Jeffrey's life was a tapestry of roles - a Navy instructor, a jazz enthusiast, but his most cherished role was that of a father. His daughter Breana, son-in-law Michael, and their beloved pet dog, Morrigan were his pride and joy. His absence leaves a profound void that can never be filled.

Jeffrey's trademarks were his remarkable ability to make others smile, his infectious sense of humor, and his love for the Green Bay Packers. His family and friends will dearly miss these qualities that brightened their lives.

He is survived by his beloved daughter, Breana, and her caring husband Michael; his son, Andreas; his daughter, Dena; and grandchildren, as well as several caring friends, Buddy, Melanie, Sharon, and Ken.

The memorial service to honor Jeffrey’s life will be held at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia, on October 18 at 9:30 AM.
