Celebration of Life Services for Mr. Jimmie Lee Maxwell will be held Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 2:00PM. Location: Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses 37300 Eastwood Road Hilliard, Florida 32046. Brother Curtis Smith will be the speaker.
Mr. Jimmie Lee Maxwell, Sr. was born January 7, 1951 in Folkston, Georgia to the late Tommy Lee Maxwell, Sr. and Mrs. Lousie Dasher Maxwell.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Tommy Lee Maxwell, Sr. and Mrs. Louise D. Maxwell; siblings, Willie Maxwell, Geraldine Maxwell, Mary Olivia Maxwell, Ruby Monroe and sister-in-law’s, Diane Maxwell and Su’Zetta Maxwell.
The seeds of truth were planted in Jimmie at an early age by his mother, Mrs. Lousie Maxwell. These seeds laid dormant for a while, then Jimmie started to study and take seriously the things he was learning and reflecting on what his mother had told him, he dedicated his life to Jehovah and was baptized February 10, 1992.
He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife, Gwendolyn Maxwell of Folkston, Georgia; sons, Jimmy (Natalia) Maxwell, Jr., of Maryland, Major Joshua (Dr. Jessica) Maxwell, of San Antonio, Texas, Mario (Chandriel) Maxwell, of Atlanta, Georgia, Steven (Lateshia) Wooten, of Folkston, Georgia, Mercury (Krystal) Milton, of Waverly, Georgia, Shaw (Tina) Cooper of Jacksonville, Florida and Alicia Harvey, of Folkston, Georgia; siblings, James Maxwell, Tommy Maxwell, Barbara (Martin) Monroe, of Folkston, Georgia, 28 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
