Jimmy Richardson born September 3, 1961 in Soperton, GA passed away peacefully surrounded by his family May 24, 2023
He is survived by his wife of 42 years Teresa Richardson of Soperton, GA, his son James (Brittney) Richardson of Vidalia, GA, his daughter Jennifer Aaron of Memphis, TN, 8 grandchildren; Brandon Aaron, Savannah (Sean) Ramsey, Bailey Richardson, James Aaron, Johnathan Richardson, Grace Richardson, Alyssa Richardson, and Atticus Aaron, 2 great grandchildren; Sailor and Shiloh Ramsey, his mother Geraldine (Lannie) Byrd of Mountain View AR, his father John (Anita) Richardson of Glennwood, GA, 3 brothers; Johnny Richardson, David Richardson, Randy Richardson, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
Jimmy worked as a master diesel mechanic for most of his life, but his true passion was being with his family. He loved being outdoors, especially fishing, and being with his grandchildren playing with them and acting like a big kid.
A memorial service will be held Saturday June 10th, 2023 starting at 10:00 am at Mount Vernon First Baptist Church 120 S Railroad Ave Mount Vernon, GA 30445.
