John James Horne

Memorial services for Mr. John James Horne will be held Monday, May 4, 2026, at 2:00 PM. Location: Serenity Funeral Home - 414 Telfair Street, Dublin, Georgia. 

Mr. Horne was born on March 20, 1952, in Dublin, Georgia, to the union of Mr. Louis Horne and Mrs. Myrtle Faircloth Horne. He spent his life training, riding, and showing horses, a passion that brought him great joy. His favorite horse was Kemo.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Myrtle Horne, and one brother, Ronnie Horne. Mr. Horne was deeply loved by his wife, Debra, as well as his family and friends. 

He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife, Debra Joann Horne; stepchildren, Christy Harrelson, Jessica (Matt) Schneller, and Dusty (Josey) Harrelson; grandchildren, Cody Tribble, Ben Schneller, Daniel Schneller; and a host of other relatives and friends. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made at Serenity Funeral Home in memory of Mr. John James Horne.
