Memorial Services for Mrs. Johnnie Lowery White will be held on Sunday, November 27 with visitation from 1 PM- 2 PM, Services will follow promptly at 2 PM. Location: Serenity Funeral Home Chapel, 414 Telfair Street, Dublin.

January 10, 1943 – November 19, 2022

Johnnie Lowery white 79, passed away peacefully at her home with her loving family by her side.

Mrs. White was born  January 10, 1943 in Dublin, Georgia to parentage of the late Johnnie Lowery and the late LeMerle Browning White. Johnnie graduated  high school at Laurens High and attended college in Abilene, Texas.  Mrs. Johnnie has worked as educator at Cynthia Ware School, however Ms. White retired from Carl Vinson VA Medical center.

Ms. Johnnie was preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years Walter Wendy White of Alamo; Father Walter Wendy White ( Iris Dot White) of Cadwell; Mother LeMerle Browning Lowery of Rentz; brothers Hugh Lowery of Cadwell, Jack Lowery of Cadwell, and AL Lowery of West Virginia.

She is survived by husband Raymond Sutton; brother Louis Lowery of Macon; Sister Beck Lowery Senn (David) of East Dublin; Son Pastor Walter Scott White of Rentz; Daughter Julie Newsome ( Susan) of Rentz; Grandchildren Autumn ( James) Burnette of Atlanta, Nicholas White of Rentz, Anthony (Kacie) Newsome of Eastman and David ( Erin) of Helen; 5 great-grandchildren;  A number of Adopted children and grandchildren who fondly and affectionally called her “Mimi’, as well as a  host of nieces, nephews,  and other relatives.

Serenity Funeral Home Dublin has charge of arrangements.
