Karen Le'Anne (Simmons) Chavarria

Celebration of Life Services for Mrs. Karen Le’Anne Simmons Chavarria will be held on Friday, May 1, 2026, at 11AM. Location: Serenity Funeral Home Chapel – 414 Telfair Street Dublin, Georgia 31021.

Mrs. Karen Chavarria was born on August 13, 1962, to the parentage of the late John D. Simmons and Mrs. Jetty Mae Russ Simmons in Georgetown, South Carolina.

Karen was known for her warm heart, gentle spirit, and the joy she found in life’s simple moments. One of her greatest pleasures was spending time with her mother, especially attending yard sales together. Those outings were more than just a hobby, they were special times filled with laughter, bonding, and shared treasures that reflected Karen’s appreciation for both people and memories.

She is preceded in death by her father, John D. Simmons.

She is survived by her son, Steve Crabb of Cleveland, Texas; daughter, Mandy Mills of Cleveland, Texas; mother, Jetty Mae Simmons of Dublin, Georgia; granddaughter, Madison Mae Mills of Cleveland, Texas; grandson, Garrett Wayne Mills of Cleveland, Texas; a special friend, Jimmy Alan Barrow of East Dublin, Georgia; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She will be remembered for her love of family, her easygoing personality, and the joy she brought to everyday life. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
