Larry Morris McLendon

Mr. Larry Morris McLendon, 62, of Dublin, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at Community Hospice of Vidalia, Georgia.

Mr. McLendon was a lifelong resident of Laurens County where he attended Josey Academy. He was well known in his community as an exceptional pool player.

He was preceded in death by his parents: James and Bessie Faye McLendon; his brothers: Jimmy McLendon and Kevin McLendon; his paternal grandparents: James Albert and Clara Bell Wynn McLendon; and his maternal grandparents: Emory “Jack” and Lilly May Harden.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife of 45 years, Debby McLendon; daughter, Erin (Mark) Holt; his son, Daniel McLendon; grandchildren: Elizabeth Holt, Rhett Holt, Aubrey McLendon, Gunner Daniel Howell, and Ryder Lee Howell; his sisters, Debra (Billy) Graham and Roxanna (Steven) Howell; brothers, Brian (Wendy) McLendon, Chris McLendon, and Keith McLendon; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

A Memorial Service for Larry will be held for all his family and friends to attend at Minter Baptist Church in the Family Life Center on January 10, 2025 @ 3PM. Burial will be private.
