Larry Reeves

Graveside Services for Mr. Larry Reeves, Sr.  “Spooky” will be held Wednesday, September 1, at 3:00PM. Location: Dudley Memorial Cemetery East Mary Street, Dublin. Dr. Kendrick K. Mack will serve as eulogist.

Larry was born February 4, 1955 in Dublin, Georgia to late Mr. Mel and Mrs. Millie Reeves.  Larry attended Oconee High School and was employed at Bassett Furniture, and later retired from the City of Dublin.

Larry joined Green Grove Missionary Baptist Church at an early age. Larry peacefully transitioned Wednesday August 25, 2021.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Mel and Millie Reeves; sister, Mirion Cherry; and brother, Charles Reeves.

Larry leaves to cherish his memories his siblings, Hazel Carroll, Vernestine Reeves, and Mr. Jackie Reeves; children, Larry (Carmen) Reeves, Jr., Rafael (Stephanie) Reeves; grandchildren, Christian, Gabrielle, Jayden, Rafael, Jr., Cameron, Sanai, and Jakaiya; aunts, Eula Canty, Willie Mae McCoy and Christine Reeves, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. Due to COVID19 family will have limited visitation at the home of his sister Ms. Vernestine Reeves at 202 Palmer Street, Dublin.

Public Viewing will be held Tuesday, August 31 from 12:00-7:00PM at the funeral home.
