Graveside Service for Mrs. LaTasha Surrey will be held Saturday, May 23, 2020 at 11:00AM at Dudley Memorial Cemetery East Mary Street, Dublin.

LaTasha Scherrie Surrey was born on September 1, 1978, to the parentage of the late Cathy and Marvin Gordon in Miami, FL. LaTasha peacefully departed this life on May 18, 2020.

LaTasha was a 1997 graduate of DHS. LaTasha was employed with Shamrock Nursing Home for 12 years.

LaTasha was preceded in death by her parents, Cathy R. Gordon and Marvin Gordon; and two uncles, Hershel Rozier and Peter Rozier. LaTasha leaves to cherish her memories: her devoted husband, Travis Surrey; three sons, Kintevius Robinson, Deonte Surrey, and DeAndre Surrey all of Dublin, GA; one daughter, Ashanti Surrey of Dublin, GA; three sisters, Shannon Beasley, Dyneisha Gordon, and Lashunda (Allen) Grainger; one brother, Jereko Santiago of Dudley, GA; mother-in-law, Martha Surrey of Dublin, GA; father-in-law, Leon Surrey of Montrose, GA; one brother-in-law, Derrick (Renae) Surrey of Dublin, GA; one sister-in-law, Sharon (Eric) Barrett; grandparents, Homer and Rosie Rozier of Dudley, GA; seven aunts, Myrtle Santiago of Rochester, NY, Betty Parks, Dorothy Carr, and Mary Stuckey all of Dublin, GA, Gloria Gordon, Joanne Gordon, and Mary Gordon all of Miami, FL; two uncles, Jerome Rozier of Dudley, GA, and J.C (Carol) Rozier of Hinesville, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
