Celebration of Life Services for Mr. Leon Jackson will be held Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 11:00AM. Location: Serenity Funeral Home 414 Telfair Street - Dublin, Georgia. Pastor Susie Davis will serve as eulogist.
Mr. Leon Jackson was born November 21, 1948, to Wilhelmea (Joe Richard) Cobb in Hawkinsville Georgia. Mr. Leon Jackson was born on November 21, 1948, to the late Wilhelmena Cobb (Joe Richard) in Hawkinsville, Georgia. Mr. Leon Jackson enlisted in the United States Army in February 1969 and was Honorably Discharged in 1973.
He was preceded in death by his son, Laushon Jackson, Sr., daughter, Tanya Jackson, brother, Bernon Cobb, sisters, Vanessa Cobb and Prima Cobb.
Mr. Leon Jackson is survived by his loving wife, Jeanette Cole Jackson, children, Latonya Tarpley of Miami, Florida, Farrah Jackson of Miami, Florida; son -in- Law, Carlton Tarpley; stepchildren, Stephaine Edwards, Julius Edwards and Kiki (Quadriquis) Mitchell all of Dublin, Georgia, Liquita Edwards and Rochelle Cole of Homestead, Florida; sisters, Kathleen Mulkey, Joy Addinson, Joann Davis and Carol Clemons; daughter-in-law, Venisha Edwards; mother-in-law, Pastor Susie Davis of Dublin, Georgia; brother- in-law, Otis Halloway; sister-in- Law Dorthy (Tim) Green of Dublin, Georgia; grandchildren, Carlton Tarpley, Jr., Cartionna Tarpley, Carlitiera Tarpley, Calya Neal Terrique Lawarence, Laushon Jackson, Jr., Lashawn Pender; step-grandchildren, Kyle Cole, Kashmire Cole, Jakayla Lyons, Konnor Mitchell, Kace Mitchell Kohen Cole, Ejean Washington, Brianna Rodriguez, Ayanna Gutierrez, Amari Randolf, Jazion (Sydney) Edwards, Jailyn Edwards, Julius Edwards, Jr., Serenity Powell and Christopher Powell, and a host of family and friends.
Public viewing will be held Friday, September 26, 2025, at the funeral home from 11:00-6:00PM.
