Linda Ann (Walker) Darsey

Memorial Services for Mrs. Linda Ann Darsey will be held Thursday, November 10 at 11:00 AM. Location: 2005 Buckeye Road, East Dublin, Georgia.

Mrs. Linda Ann Darsey was born May 28, 1949 to the late Mr. Cecil and Florrie Walker.

Linda Ann Walker united in marriage to James L. Darsey on March 22,1969.

Mrs. Darsey is survived by her husband, James L. Darsey; three children, Jamie (Susan) Darsey, East Dublin, Carrie Lynee (Alex) Graham, Dublin, and Merry Beth (David) Gardner, Salem, Massachusetts; four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and three grandchildren.

Linda was much loved by all that knew her. She would always hug you and give you a kiss on the cheek.  After becoming ill, people would say to her husband, how much they enjoyed her warm hugs and kisses. While in the hospital some of the nurses would always come to check on her before their shift began.

Mrs. Darsey was a member of Emerald City Christian Center (EC3). She enjoyed attending church along with spending time with her church family.

She was a past president of Emerald City Quilters. She enjoyed making quilts and showing them as long as she was able. She loved her flowers and working in the garden. Mostly she enjoyed being with her family. She loved going on trips (as long a she didn’t have to drive).

The Darsey Family would like to thank Fairview Park Hospital for the care she received from the nurses, nurse practitioners, and physicians.

 A big thank you to Compassus Hospice. The nurses and CNA’s were always kind, compassionate and very helpful.
